#FrameItFriday (week 7 season 4)

#FrameItFriday (week 7 season 4)

My oh my it's Friday yet again and if it means anything to anyone, we're on the cusp of a long weekend here in Ontario. Does that even mean anything anymore? Long Weekend, hmmm. I have to ask google "what day is today" at least 3 times a week. I'm sure it's not an age thing, it's a lockdown thing.

We've been walking a lot of local trails for the past 45 days, mostly they're the rail trails. In spite of the plunging temperatures, if you dress the part, you'll be just fine....in fact you may get a tad overheated (like I do) and end up tying your coat around your waist.

I actually told a friend the other day "I think I'm falling back in love with winter!" They gave me the oddest of looks and told me I'm losing my mind lol. For the past few winters I've adopted the old "lazy girl shooting style". A lot of sitting on my butt in my car driving everywhere looking for shots. Too much sitting on my butt. So, I'm working on it.

I hope you've been enjoying the little video clips I've posted. I'm trying to get better at doing them, I promise. I hold my breath when I take them so you don't hear me panting. I'm trying not to take huge sniffs either but my nose runs like a tap in the cold. I'll try and remember to blow my nose before hitting the record button. I believe I'm holding the camera a bit steadier and trying to remember not to switch my phone from a horizontal position to vertical mid-stream so you don't throw up. I bring my camera with me most days because I don't want to "miss that bird shot". The days I bring my camera we rarely see any wildlife but the day I don't bring that huge ass lens is the day a pair of eagles land 20 ft away from me and devour fish before my very eyes.

I.JUST.KNOW.IT.

75 days before our final move to our new house. That time will fly by. While we wait, we walk and I take and post trail photos and videos. Thanks for biding the time with me, I hope you're enjoying my posts and you're staying safe. Enjoy the weekend, whatever you do!

Peace, love and kumbaya,

Heather
