Wowzers if you're reading this then we've all made it to the final week of the decade or as some may call it "the Twilight Zone" week. Like all of the memes you've been reading that say "what day is it and what should we be doing between Christmas and New Years?" Or something like that. I know one thing about this past week I've been thinking and telling myself all week long is "that's ENOUGH EATING Heather Louise!"
So if you look at the first photo I've posted above you will see that my Secret Santa came through for me and got me a legit BackRoads book! As long as I have reading glasses, me and this little book are going to go on some sweet ADVENTURES (like it claims on the cover). I can actually make my own notes in it (note to self, make notes in map book so you know where you've been before). I just have to remember I can't pinch the page to zoom in on it (I've already done that twice). I also received a 1.4 teleconverter for my 100-400 lens, it extends the focal length of my lens. I've tested it out the once up in Algonquin last week but only on a Blue Jay and y'all have seen them before. I'll get out an practice with it a bit and let you know my thoughts later.
During this lull between Christmas and New Years I'm putting together my 2019 slide show. I use iMovie and well, let's just say it's a bit of a learning curve and I won't be winning any Oscars for the finished product. I have to figure out how to get it down from from 26mins to 12 mins like last year and figure out how to save it. Any advice would be appreciated.
One last thing (this is short this week because basically I've been a couch potato Netflix binging lazy git since Christmas began). I've a minimal amount of 2020 calendars left in my possession. It has a lovely tribute to my wee mum (as you can see from the 2nd photo above) on the back of it. It's definitely a collectible for that alone. Hit me up in a message.
I lied, THIS is the last thing I have to say.......I'd like to thank you all for your support, your business, your smiles, your comments, your feedback, etc, etc, etc. this past year. I've been posting #ChickPicotheDay for over 8 years now (2,950 days in a row). It's a crazy weird journey I'm on but I love it or else I wouldn't do it. Now writing a blog, that's a pain in the butt so I hope you've enjoyed the 52 I've written this past year.
OMG I can't stop......I'm always looking for ideas, locations, things to shoot so feel free to suggest. Also, I've said this many times now, I really need to get a few sponsors. Any ideas of who I should ask? Forget Canon, I'm a tadpole in a pond....it would be nice to get a little car money for the exploring I do.....whine, snivel, grovel.....
