#FrameItFriday (week 52, season 2)

#FrameItFriday (week 52, season 2)

BAM! Just like that, Christmas is over and we are currently wandering through the mist between that and New Year's. If it weren't for all the calendars about, I'd totally lose track of the days and time. I'm sure you all can relate.

Hey, so did you have a good Christmas? Was it hectic and chaotic or was it quiet and laid back? However you spent it, I hope you enjoyed yourselves. We had a great time seeing family and friends.

I didn't have my camera out that much this season, only when I thought it necessary. Why is that? Well, confession time....in between Christmas stuff my husband and I have been binge-watching The Walking Dead on Netflix. We have 2 more seasons to get caught up. I'm so hooked, every time I go outside I almost want to take a huge Samurai sword along with me...and that's not good.

I received a real cool addition to my photo kit this holiday from my husband.....a super sweet pair of binoculars with handy dandy harness to hook them to. Not quite a Samurai Sword and they won't get me thrown in jail for carrying around (except if I'm spying in windows, which I promise I won't). See the photo? That's them and YES they're made by Nikon. Right now my Nikon buddies are nodding their heads in agreement thinking "of course they're Nikons". As strictly a Canon gear user I was shocked but my husband AKA the researcher, says they're the best around for the coin they cost. It's like riding a Harley wearing a Honda helmet, kind of. Personally I could care less, they're a valuable asset to me and I'm excited to put them to use. "Eye spy with my little eye." lol

About the whole New Year's Resolution thing....I'm not a huge fan of it (most likely because I'm a bad resolution keeper) I will instead make a conscious effort to slow down and take some different shots this year and maybe while I'm doing that try and eat better and walk more. But I won't call them resolutions just in case I blow it all.

Time to finish off that addictive show now (I have until the end of the year) so I can "focus" on making 2019 a remarkable year!

Happy New Year folks, I wish you all a prosperous, healthy 2019 filled with all the things you love. Thanks for all of your support this past year. Feel free to pm me if you have any secret cool places or people you'd like me to photograph. Remember, all my images are available to purchase.

Peace, love and kumbaya, Heather xo
