How's everyone doing? I hope you are all keeping well. I'm about to begin some Christmas baking, yes me. I'm far from being Betty Crocker and I need baked goods in my house like a hole in the head but attempts will be made by me in the next few days. So far my annual tins contain 3 very basic calorie laden treats: that Christmas Crack, Pecan Balls and Rice Krispie bits. I need to broaden my treat buffet. If you've got any ideas you'd like to share here, let us know! This is our first Christmas in the country so there's lots of new traditions being made around here which is exciting. I've been going crazy with lighting the place up. There are a few outlets looking like Clark Griswold's infamous garage plug/extension cord setup in various rooms as well as battery operated lights. I regret being a grump on the day we put the summer stuff away in the barn as Paul asked me "do you need any of these bins back here, like the ones that say 'Christmas' on them?" "Nah" I replied all because I had enough of putting stuff away for winter. I know I've got at least 10 strings of outdoor lights sitting in a bin most likely marked "kitchen stuff" or "hall closet stuff". Next year. Time to go pack up my camera bag as tomorrow I have the privilege of taking photos of a fine gentleman that is turning 90 in a few weeks time! I'm very excited. Have a great weekend and stay safe! Peace, love and kumbaya, Heather **LAST CALL FOR CALENDARS (see photo, that's the last of them)! $25ea. delivered or $20ea. picked up.
