Well, well, well......here we are, on the brink of a long weekend (in Ontario) and THIS photographer needs a bit of down time. I mean, look at the photo I put up with this week's blog....a goofball squirrel from my BACKYARD.
I've been working on some exciting new things for the past few months and before I launch all of that, #CanonGirl needs some time with her family, her camera and her kayak.
In case you hadn't noticed, I just posted my 2,440th #ChickPicotheDay (that's 6.68 years according to my calculator). 2,440 days in a row or 6.68 years of trying to find something different, something odd, something funny, something pretty, something alive, something brick, something smelly....whatever....I'm all over the map (literally and figuratively).
My brain has been working overtime with new ideas and needs a nice calm, smooth, lake to float about and simply chase and shoot #Loonsor whatever else I see. Oh and a few tins of #SomersbyAppleCider#BottleofRedVino and a #bonfire (If there's not a fire ban in place).
Not to worry if you were thinking I was letting #ChickPicotheDay go on holidays too....I'll still be posting that but with shots from #StudioNorth. We've still got lots of spots to explore in the area. This break time will be mostly water exploration via kayak and I can't wait!
I've been priming #StellaCat for the trip as well using words like "car ride", "cottage", "screened in porch". She looks at me with the expression "girl...you crazy, you need a holiday" and I say back to her "no kidding, what do you think I'm trying to tell you".
On that note, I shall bid you adieu and go pack up all of my camera gear.....all of it....and a bathing suit and a hoodie. That's all I need.......now the cat.....she needs her own RV for all of her crap.
