#FrameItFriday (week 29, season 2)
So I survived the masses at Friday the 13th last.....ummmm....Friday. I posted my album on here, check it out if you haven't already.
The shot I posted below was taken four years ago. Paul and I were kayaking on Galeairy Lake on the outskirts of Algonquin Park. This was taken from the kayak. Such a great time we had exploring the waters.
Why the 4 year old photo? Well...If you've read any of my posts the last couple of days you'd know I had to spend hours looking for one specific image. I had to look through all of my images on most of my external hard drives. As frustrating as that needle in a haystack treasure hunt was, I found it quite fun.
First of all, I have taken a shit ton of digital images over the past 7 years. It was cool to see how far I've come, what I've shot (some crazy stuff for sure) and omg, the people I've met! Awesome. I also decided to re-organize those images for easier retrieval. I have to. That is my mission next week.
I don't want to bore you with all that nonsense though. I want to tell you that I am taking a bit of time off this weekend to network and conference with a fine group of women. Re-charge the batteries and get inspired!
FOR US NORMAL SPEAKING FOLKS THIS MEANS...... GIRL'S WEEKEND!!!!!!!! Woot, woot!
Bit of partying, bit of swimming, bit of boating, bit of sunbathing, bit of eating and lots of gossip. It has been far too long since my kindergarten buddies and I gathered at my friend's cottage. A nice little girly break. So I best get off this computer and load up my car. I've made arrangements for Saturday and Sunday's #ChickPicotheDay so that will be happening. I will miss my husband and #StellaCat but will enjoy hanging out with my girls on a dock on a lake somewhere in northern Ontario....there MAY be photos, there may not.
I hope some of you get chances to take a mini-break and re-charge, if not....I will do it for you! Whatever you do this weekend, enjoy and be safe!
Peace, Love and Kumbaya
Heather
