#FrameItFriday (week 26 season 3)
Every summer when I'm lakeside I source out a volunteer to participate in my annual "cannonball" shot. I was lucky and found this lovely family on the final day of their camping adventure. It was a scorching hot day and there they were, shoreside at their campsite reluctant to leave for home on such a fine day. We discussed dragonfly nymphs, leeches, wildlife we'd all seen, my camera (when I brought it out). Their boys were already jumping and splashing about near this fallen down tree in the water. I asked, "would you all do a cannonball off that tree for me so I can get my annual photo?" I swear the parents were more into it than the kids, I took a few shots and this is one of them. Check out the parents!
As we're at the halfway point in this the year of 2020, the year NONE of us will forget and is only half over. As July begins mid next week and we celebrate Canada's 152nd birthday, do you have any plans to get away somewhere? Will you try to rent a cottage or go camping or begin a staycation? I'd love to hear what you're going to be doing. It's going to be day trips for us until we can get up to #StudioNorth. I have a few places in mind and they involve water and trails and the least amount of bugs and people as possible. Question(s): do you know of any recent grads? Did they have the outfit all picked out and nowhere to wear it? Or someone is celebrating a milestone birthday? Pregnancy announcement? Gender reveal? Baby shots? Engagement? Selling a house? Getting married? You know, I can safely capture these moments in a special 2020 covid, social distance way with my Social Distance lens. Give me a holler, let's take some shots (not the tequila kind though). There are only so many birds, bugs, pet cat pictures I can take and post here. Oh, speaking of birds (see last paragraph), I've got a couple more cool shots of birds I took from last week's Algonquin Park escape. They'll be up at the #ChickPicotheDay in a few days, stay tuned. As always, feel free to comment, like, share or INVITE your entire friends list to LIKE my photo page, that would be SUPER swell. Have a safe and fun weekend!
