Well, what can I say? If you didn't catch it from the last blog, my wee mum passed away just over a week ago. Needless to say, I haven't done much shooting. We are prepping our family home that has been in our family since the day it was built 60 years ago. That's a lot of memories, a lot of amazing memories (ok a few bad ones but life is not perfect).

Today is dumpster day, tough choices on what to keep, what to toss, what to donate and what to get the rest of the family to keep. There's a lot of paper work to purge through as well. I'm taking my time going through it because in one stack of stuff I found this stunning photo of my mum. I cried. I had never seen this photo in my life and I can only guess what age my mum was in this shot. What a treasure that almost got tossed (by accident).

So, forgive me for a few more weeks for perhaps recycling some of my old work until I get back out with my camera again. I'm available for a limited amount of shoots if you need me. Just a tip if you're in a similar boat, try and take a bit of time going through things before tossing them or certain treasures may never be found and lost forever.
