#FrameItFriday (week 17, season 2)
Here we are, last Friday in April. We are way behind in the season we call Spring. Longest time I've had the furnace on in years.
The wildlife where I am, are creeping out of the woodwork. As you know, I had a fox trot up to me on road leading to Algonquin. I've had countless wild turkey's jaywalk in front of me. Saw a hawk on a stop sign, saw a Pileated Woodpecker slamming it's beak into a telephone pole and a cat on a chair spying on a cheeky chipmunk.
Take note....there are no shots of the hawk, the turkeys and the woodpecker because......when you snooze you lose or when you're driving you lose.
The lakes where I am are still mostly frozen. I did see some open water down the other end of the lake and yesterday there were 4 loons sitting in it. It better warm up soon because those birds gotta get down to business and make some babies.
I can't focus on writing this blog this week. My camera sits on the tripod out on the porch waiting for Northern Flickers, there are more backroads for me to explore while I'm here and the sun is shining. It makes no sense to be sitting here typing away.......get outside people, the weather is finally half decent, nice fresh air. I'm off to capture whatever I can find, some you'll see posted here next week (It could be a theme week, stay tuned)
Peace, love and kumbaya, Heather
