In case you are wondering, today is Friday and we've just hit day 3,098 in the month April.
April is that odd month in my country that one can experience all 4 seasons multiple times a day, all month long. It's where we wake up intending to cut the lawn but realize you need to swap your flip flops and shorts for snowpants and grab a shovel to clear a path to access the lawn mower . Oh and that snowbrush, where'd you toss that in the garage because you need to clean off the patio furniture you put out the first warm day in March. I am on week 2 or 3 of trying to grow my own Christmas tree (I saw it online so it must work). I've hit the top of my hand in the EXACT same spot 4xs (this time it's just a tiny bruise). I ate French fries with gravy smothered over it for dinner. I've become addicted to instant coffee and may have placed a "woe is me" Amazon order from Old Navy. I also learned a few new tricks about Photoshop on YouTube. Have I failed my family by not learning how to bake bread yet? I have yet to go down and clean out the basement. What does any of this have to do with photography? NOTHING, ZIP, NADA.......I'm afraid to venture out. Wait, that's incorrect. I have been out. In my car, driving around searching for subjects to shoot. It's usually on the day of the week I've chosen to get groceries, I tour first and get groceries on my way home. I've felt guilty about doing that....the going out, driving around part, not the food part. We're supposed to stay home. So I compromise my almost daily outings (ya, I know I just said I only go out when I buy groceries) by just going on Bladder Tours. Bladder tours, think about it....."is my bladder full? time to return home." So not long at all if you know my bladder lol. Wow, I just read through that last paragraph and shook my head. I hope you all still love me. Well, that's enough ramblings about pretty much nonsense wouldn't you agree? Just one thing though....I think I've come up with a fun idea that I'll be testing out on y'all on Sunday......it's an experiment and I urge you to stay tuned at least until this Sunday where I'll be posting something that I hope will be fun for y'all. Split second fun. Nothing long and drawn out, not a quiz or anything like that. Just something to gaze at. Invite your friends to like and share my page so they can join in too!
