#FrameItFriday (week 15 season 4)
Well, we're in lockdown again here in Ontario our search for remote trails close to home is becoming trickier. Luckily for us though, there's a plethora of trails throughout our county. Since being in a holding pattern until we FINALLY move across the province we've been so fortunate to focus on our walking along many cool paths. Working on our fitness has been our top priority and I've piggybacked my beloved Canon 1DX with the 100-400 lens along to capture what we've found. Carrying around that brute is the equivalent to having those 2lb a piece ankle weights except for it's hanging off my neck instead. It's been nice to see the subtle changes in the landscape. More bird chatter, peeping from the peepers, re-birth of tiny groves of those pretty purply blue flowers, a yellow butterfly and our good old buddy the mosquito. Lucky for us we don't wander off the trails and into tick country but we still do a tick check when we return to the car. What are you doing to bide your time during lockdown? Have you tried something new? I'm curious to know. Have you received your vaccination yet? I'm on some kind of list but I have my doubts as to whether I'll get an appointment where I live right now. We shall see. Sorry the blog isn't that interesting this week but I must tell you about the photo I've posted this week. We were on this cool trail up in North Dumfries that we now refer to as the #TeepeeTrail as there were at least 6 scattered along it. See my walking buddy peeking her head out from it? It was quite the size and no doubt a lot of work to build. Well, that's it, that's all I got for you. Don't for get to hit me up for a follow if you aren't already. Be safe!
Peace, love and kumbaya,
Heather
