#FrameItFriday (week 14 season 4)
Do the days of the week feel like "days" and you no longer experience that "feeling" to that "it's the weekend?" or is it just me? It's our 2nd Easter in lockdown and the only difference between this Easter and last Easter is the fact that I was actually ready for it this year. By ready, I mean I sent a bag of Easter eggs to my son and daughter-in-law via Amazon. They got it 2 days ago and they finished off the "pretty small bag for the money" within an hour of it being delivered lol. That's ok, that's why I sent them, to be devoured.
Since we're "minding our p's and q's" in the food department at our house I decided to gift myself and my walking buddy with a new shirt instead of chocolate. I know, that does not sound like me at all. The husband has spent the past few months learning guitar online so I got him a Copa or something like that for his guitar. I'll let you know when his first concert is going live. I'm pretty sure I'll be the only photographer permitted in the pit to shoot the show.
As far as the photography talk this week goes I did a shoot with a lovely gal last Saturday for the first time in ages. We had a lot of fun strolling around App's Mill posing in different spots and having lots of laughs whilst doing it. Sadly, that was my last shoot in Brantford due to the lockdown and the fact that we're moving in 27 days! Did I mention that? I know, roll your eyes like I'm sure my family does every time I mention it. Back to camera talk, I still take photos every day. Since we walk the trails daily, I drag out my camera with my 100-400 lens, every single time. It's a heavy bugger but when I hang it around my neck and dangle the camera down my back, my posture is 100% on point lol. Why such a big lens on a walk? Why? It's because I just know that the day I leave it at home an eagle will swoop down on to the trail with a fish in it's beak and devour it right in front of me and my camera will be at home. Sadly, every time I drag out the big gun nothing exciting ever happens.
BUT.....
"You miss 100% of the shots you never take"
~Wayne Gretzky
so I drag my gear with me every single walk.
Hey, so I'm always looking for ideas on what to shoot, so if you have any good ideas please comment below. Oh and if you're down in the area where we're moving to, I'd LOVE to know some spots to go check out either on foot or watercraft. Thanks!
I'd like to welcome all my new followers that have hopped on the Heather crazy train. Did you know that every photo I post is available to buy in digital format for $25? Ya, that's a deal now isn't it?
Have a happy and safe Easter!
Peace, love and kumbaya
Heather
