#FrameItFriday (week 12, season 3)
I can't believe I've felt so sorry for myself the past couple of days. Yesterday was a complete waste while I wallowed in self pity about the state of the world, being self isolated, not finding flour at the grocery store and worrying about our toilet paper inventory here at the house. I did save the life of some mis-matched socks I found in my dresser. If you don't get what that last sentence meant google the meme for it.
I have read about all of you who are out there doing your part to "flatten the curve" and it's heartwarming to see how people are reaching out to help others as well, as best they can. Now if we can just rein in those that are still behaving like life is normal, that they are "too young, too healthy or just plain old inconsiderate assholes" out there "partying it up" or whatever. By not staying home, not self-isolating and carrying on like things are normal....you are going to ruin it for all of us that are trying our best to keep ourselves safe and healthy. You will completely undo what we're all trying to protect ourselves from just because you want to go and hang with your buddies or have a dinner party/games night at your home with friends/family....do it online! Stay home!
Ok, my apologies for all of this ranting, etc. I think I've finished my hissy fit. I've made a list of "things to do" and as you can see by the photo, that this box that I rescued from my late mum's house (she had it hidden away) is on the list to open if #StellaCat will let me that is. I think I should put "chill out" and "meditate" on my list as well. I can celebrate the fact that I found the missing for over a decade Polly Pockets this week and I had an impromptu photo session with some lumberjacks (photos to follow). I social distanced by using my telephoto lens.
Next week I'll aim for higher goals and a better attitude.
I hope you're all coping ok, that you are virus free and have all you need to make it through all of this as we have no idea the length of time this will go on for. If you need anything, reach out to me and I'll try and assist you any way I can.Peace, love and kumbaya, Heather
