#FrameItFriday (week 11 season 4)

#FrameItFriday (Week 11, season 4)

Ok, let's just start with....what IS THIS (in the photo)? For those of you NOT local, this structure is in Paris, Ontario just alongside the Nith River. Enquiring minds need to know (my mind does anyhow). I have to admit this was my very first time along the trails in this place. They're lovely trails, some parts are paved, some are gravel and some are winding, hilly, muddy paths. Plenty of options for all levels of walkers. It was great but again....those folks with the large dogs not picking up after their dog's poop I could wring their necks. We attempted the Barker's Bush trail (which I plan on going back to see) but yesterday, geesh I can handle the mud but not the landmines. I detest those irresponsible pet owners immensely. ANYHOW, I've mentioned this on a number of occasions on here but ON HERE is not the place to keep on bitching about it. One final thing...I'd LOVE to catch one in the act (as in, trying to leave the scene without picking up their dog's crap) ok, I'll stop now.

I'm seated here, contemplating the location of our walk today. I'm hoping for something smooth and paved, just to give the cleats, the boots, the floor mats in our cars a break from muck and sand. Anybody got a suggestion? We're about 47 days until we move so if there's any place local to Brantford, Brant County area you'd like me to take photos of, let me know!

I'd like to thank all of you for your comments and stories about the old Findlay stove I posted a few weeks ago. I LOVED the memories you all shared. Most importantly I'd like to thank you all for your kind words in memory of Mr. Walter (Wally) Gretzky on last week's blog. For those of us fortunate to have met him and experience his kindness I hope you carry those good feelings and pay it forward. Spread the kindness and love.

One more thing PLEASE do not put out your patio furniture and cushions out yet....history has shown that if one does that, the snow will return. Oh and put your clocks ahead and hour Saturday night, it's time for that stupid Daylight Savings nonsense again.

I sound old and crotchety this week don't I? What is wrong with me? Good grief! Imma stop that right now.

Peace, love and kumbaya, Heather
