#FrameItFriday (week 1, season 3)
Welcome to Season 3 and Week 1 of FrameItFriday by moi. If you're new to my page this means that for 52 Fridays I'll be posting my blog up here and on my website. I dread writing these to be honest. I'm not sure why I started them, I think maybe it was to post and speak about a particular photo and try and sell it to you all. Ya, well sales were pretty poor so I switched it to some random photo or two with a little story about it.
If I were better organized I'd have 52 weeks of topics to discuss for 2020 already planned. I'm not that organized as far as that goes, a tad OCD for sure but truth be told I'd rather be out taking photos instead of adulting lol. So be prepared for 52 weeks of last minute ramblings by Heather lol.
I know one thing, I'm ready folks, ready to hit the road, ready to take your family photos, ready to cover your events etc. etc. The holidays were good but they're over and save a teensy bit of family business to finish up I'm READY to shoot...get at me if you're needing new headshots or houses photographed as well. You all know that and I really don't want this blog to be a weekly infomercial.
I chose these photos because well, what a difference a year makes......I'm certain some of you can identify with these two shots. I stumbled upon this abandoned treasure a year or so ago. It is part of my "neighbourhood watch". I'm so glad my road trip encompassed passing by this sad looking homestead before it's just a mound of timber. I'll circle back to it in late February and see how it's doing.
Time for me to end this as I'm off to Toronto to my family home (which has been sold) to tidy up and clean out what's left prior to closing in preparation for a wonderful sweet family to take possession of it and make their own memories. I'm not going to lie, I'm certain a few tears will be shed by me as I say my goodbyes. At least I have some wonderful happy memories and photographs to remember it all by.
Peace, love and kumbaya Heather
