#FrameItFriday (LAST BLOG OF 2022)

#FrameItFriday LAST BLOG OF THE YEAR!

Well, here we are, second last day of the year, my 11th year of #ChickPicotheDay, 4,048 days in a row and 10,000+ followers here on Facebook. This is the time of year when everyone puts out their "best of", "most watched" etc, etc and OF COURSE I'm doing that! I do it every year (ok, not for 11 yrs in a row) but for a few years (I upload them to my YouTube account) If you've been hanging out with me for a bit you know I've just sat down today to write this year end blog without any real pre-planning, flying by the seat of my pants, trying to focus on what to write and dodging texts, phone calls and conversations as my office is situated at the kitchen table, the 401 on the Friday of a long weekend kind of room. Ya and the cat is chirping at me from the other room letting me know she's pooped in the litter box and I'd best get it tidied up for her majesty (one reason why she's not in this year's calendar, she's a diva!). Ok, where was I? Right, so about the photo, it's my fav from this past year and I'll tell you why, I feel it's "timeless", it brings back memories from simpler times, almost as though I could step into the picture and hop on that swing. I found it by accident actually, I never ever knew it existed. Does it have that effect on you when you look at it? I'm curious. Hey, any wild guesses as to how many images I shot this past year? Leave your guess in the comments below, closest guess will get a prize, oh and when you leave your guess below can you also let me know what part of the world you are currently in? Thanks buds. About that "year at a glance" video, I've uploaded it to my YouTube https://youtu.be/zacd0gCrXqU but it won't be visible until next year (January 1st, 2023, 2 days from now) I hope you check it out because it took me 24 HOURS to upload it for crying out loud, crazy right? It's 26 minutes long, 3.7gb file size. Country internet, gotta love it. I hope you take the time and watch it please. Thanks to everyone who I've shot, who have commented, who have liked, shared and bought my work this past year (and previous ones too). I hope to have proper stairs installed to my loft/studio in the early part of 2023 so I can do some headshot/portraits up there and I'm looking forward to broadening my shooting territory to some new areas next year. I'm out of words, my brain is done...time to go kick up some gravel on a mucky dirt road and clear the cobwebs. The week between Christmas and New Years always does me in, it's like being in the twilight zone. Happy New Year you beautiful folks, stay healthy and safe. Peace, love and kumbaya Heather
