Frame It Friday (week 10, season 2)

#FrameItFriday (week 10, season 2)

This week I give you two options, version A or version B...it depends on how much data you have on your phone.....

Bloggy Version A (long, drawn out, rambling, incoherent story):

I don't know about y'all but this week was somewhat of an #Inuksuk for me. Even now as I write this, I struggle with the words to describe why I felt my week was like one of those quirky cool stone sculptures. I guess because I took this picture and wanted to post it for my bloggy but I had to look up what it exactly means first so I can connect it to my week. Are you with me on this?

I googled it and I found this in my search results "The Inuksuk is a symbol of the human spirit. It recognizes our ability to succeed with others, where alone we might fail. It reminds us of our need to belong to something greater than ourselves and prompts us to reconnect with our individual responsibility to invest our efforts today so that we may all have a better tomorrow. The Inuksuk conveys the importance of personal contribution and it reinforces our ability to commit to common goals." Somewhere inside my pea-sized brain I think it states in part of how my week went.

So what does the aforementioned quote have to do with "my week"? I'll spare you all the details of what transpired (nothing life threatening, not to worry). Specifically, in taking this photo it has prompted me this week to "reconnect with my individual responsibility to invest my efforts today so that we may have a better tomorrow".

It's a vague kind of Bloggy today, I'm not getting to the dirt, the nitty gritty, skirting around, watching what I divulge, being evasive........bottom line is.....I had a couple of private photo sessions with clients this week which is a good thing but I also had to do a bunch of things that I have been neglecting to do, you know adult stuff. Hey, I'm not looking for sympathy here not one bit.....I'm only trying to be all fancy and deep with my analogy between the Inuksuk photo vs. my week. It's all I've got for you this week.....I'm suffering from being housebound and unable to get out and take some photos. (waa, waa, waaaaaa) The withdrawal alone makes me write incoherently and ramble on and on........next week I'm hitting the road now that my house is clean and income taxes are done......

oh and one last thing I also read this...."For centuries, the Inuit people of Canada’s Arctic stacked rock in human form to create the Inuksuk, a steadfast guidepost that provided direction across the vast horizons of the North". I stopped along the curve of a road up around Barry's Bay to get this shot. I'd been on backroads for hours, not seen a soul, was heading back to #StudioNorth. I stopped and took the shot and someone had come up the road behind me in a pickup truck and blasted their horn at me for stopping like an idiot in the middle of the road.

Bloggy Version B (cut to the chase): this is a photo of an Inuksuk. The End.

Thanks for reading if you did. Feel free to like, share, comment, follow me. Never forget that I am available for all your photography needs, events, headshots, portraits, engagements, adult and kid cakesmashes, boudoir, pets, house shots. I'll give it a whirl AND most all of my images are available for purchase. Have a great weekend!

Peace, Love and Kumbaya....Heather
