"Want to have a staring contest?" or are you looking a bit stunned like #StellaCat is because yesterday was the last day of school (those of you with young 'uns that is). If your child has said to you "I'm bored" already, you have my condolences.
We're on the brink of a smoking hot long weekend that will involve lots of celebrations due to the fact that our amazing country is celebrating it's 151st birthday!!! I don't know about y'all but I plan on hanging around the homestead and take random lazy girl shots of what crosses my path whilst I swing in a hammock out back. There may be a beverage or two consumed as well. Oh and a car show too, possibly....whatever we get up to, there will be a camera in tow to capture it all.
Our city has a huge celebration planned at the park across the river from us. Lots of exciting activities, music and food. I look forward to hearing the bands perform and watch what is always an outstanding fireworks show from the hill in the park down the street from us.
I'm going to cut this one short today........just because I haven't got anything exceptionally exciting to share at this point and time. Ship happens.
